Meetra Qutb is currently supporting the research and engagement work of the Centre for Information Resilience's Afghan Witness project, a project to independently collect, preserve and verify information on human rights and current events in Afghanistan.

Meetra Qutb is an independent researcher and commentator on human rights in Afghanistan. She is currently supporting the research and engagement work of the Centre for Information Resilience's Afghan Witness project, a project to independently collect, preserve and verify information on human rights and current events in Afghanistan. Meetra has worked as a journalist and with various refugee and migrant organisations in Germany and the UK. She has also worked as an associate lecturer at Kabul University's law and political science faculty and has delivered lectures on human rights at other various universities. Meetra Qutb holds an LLM in international human rights law from Lancaster University and an MA in public economics, law and politics from Leuphana University of Lueneburg, Germany.
