Investigating prenatal development

We want to learn more about how 32-24 week old foetuses process the language and emotions they experience in the womb to help us understand social and cognitive development before birth! We'll be using 4D scans to monitor how your baby responds to different speech sounds in the womb.

Early language and emotional development in children with a family history of autism

To investigate early language and emotional development, we're studying how foetuses aged 32-34 weeks with and without autistic family members react to what they hear and experience within the womb. We are using 4D scans to measure the foetal responses to different speech sounds. To qualify as having a family history of autism, either the biological mother or father, or a biological sibling should have a diagnosis of autism.
