Health@Lancaster Collaboration Cafe - The new Trump government, and the far right's impact on health policy, including conspiracy theories around big pharma and the privatisation of the NHS, with Dr Aaron Winter
The next Health@Lancaster Collaboration Cafe will take place on Wednesday 9th April at 9am in the Business Lounge at Health Innovation One.
Dr Aaron Winter, from Sociology, will discuss the new Trump government, and the far right's impact on health policy, including conspiracy theories around big pharma and the privatisation of the NHS.
The weekly Collaboration Cafes give colleagues the chance to meet up over their morning coffee and discuss a different topic each week. The format sees a chosen speaker deliver a short provocation before the floor is opened to colleagues.
There are opportunities to meet people from across campus who are interested in health research and knowledge exchange - with relevant external stakeholders often invited to take part in the discussion. Refreshments are provided and the event closes at 9:45am to allow for colleagues with other commitment to return to main campus for 10am.
