Health@Lancaster Collaboration Cafe - Dr Naveed Iqbal, of Tritone Health

The next Health@Lancaster Collaboration Cafe will take place on Wednesday 27th November at 9am in the Business Lounge at Health Innovation One.

Dr Naveed Iqbal, of Tritone Health, will be discussing his work with the NHS and Lancaster University on a digital solution to improve the lives of people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Naveed’s company is based in Health Innovation One and his previous roles as a GP and in the humanitarian sector – setting up primary care clinics for refugees around the world – give him a unique insight into international health issues.

The weekly Collaboration Cafes give colleagues the chance to meet up over their morning coffee and discuss a different topic each week. The format sees a chosen speaker deliver a short provocation before the floor is opened to colleagues.

There are opportunities to meet people from across campus who are interested in health research and knowledge exchange - with relevant external stakeholders often invited to take part in the discussion. Refreshments are provided and the event closes at 9:45am to allow for colleagues with other commitment to return to main campus for 10am.
