Clinical Psychology Education Team

We deliver much more than training

Although one of our key roles is delivering the doctorate in clinical psychology at lancaster university, our team also provide a wide range of clinical services, CPD and awareness training, and specialist consultation to organisations who require psychological professionals. We are highly experienced psychologists who understand how to work to meet your neeeds and support the psychological knowledge and wellbeing of employers, employees, teachers, students, and the general public.

How we deliver psychological wellbeing

Our extensive experience in providing direct clinical services, training at all levels of expertise, and bespoke consultation to address specific issues and research needs, means we are ideally placed to help you to address any psychological needs your organisation may require.

We will work with you to develop bespoke training plans or a clinical service which we can deliver over a timescale to suit your needs.

Below are some of the current projects we run to deliver psychological wellbeing within primary, secondary, further and higher education, charities, public, and private sector. If you’d like to know more about our portfolio of projects, just get in touch.

What it costs

The price of our services will depend on the level of input required. To give you a starting point, our normal charge for a full day of input from one of our hugely experienced clinical psychologists is £750.

Lancashire Emotional Health in Schools Service

In the last 12 months, we have trained nearly 1,500 school staff to support emotional health in pupils from primary to college level. We have engaged with 62% of secondary schools, 32% of primary schools and 82% of 6th forms and colleges in Lancashire so far with sessions ongoing.

Youth Homelessness Service

We have run 20 fully booked training days for 600 attendees from secondary schools, colleges, and organisations that work with young people. We aim to improve psychological skills in professionals and thereby reduce the number of young people who find themselves homeless in the future. A variety of professionals have attended from a range of voluntary/third sector organisations, schools/colleges, local council, and the NHS.

Reflective Groups

Regular reflective groups are run with the staff of a nationwide UK children’s charity to promote effective support of young people’s mental health. Staff members have rated their knowledge of complex trauma as increasing by an average of 40% through our sessions.
