Research Overview

Miguel is a Research Associate at Lancaster University and currently writing his PhD thesis at the Nottingham University Business School. He is also the Conference Chair at the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology and member of the Chilean Public Health Institute expert panel on psychosocial risk management. His expertise is related to the fields of occupational health and safety, occupational health psychology and organisational psychology.

His current work focuses on reviewing international occupational health services systems, examining the role of national policy instruments in protecting and promoting mental health at work and the study of underemployment.

Miguel has worked for over 13 years in the occupational health and safety, consultancy and academic sectors in Chile and the UK.
