Senior Research AssociateResearch Overview
My research interests reflect my clinical background in palliative and end of life care. I worked as a nurse for many years in specialist palliative care in a number of roles and settings prior to commencing my post within the University. I am currently working as a researcher for the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Palliative and End of Life Care. I am specifically working on a project looking at improving access to palliative and end of life care for minority ethnic groups. The study is being led by Lancaster University, in collaboration with the Universities of King's College, London, Hull York Medical School, Leeds University and Cambridge University. My PhD in Health Research focused on recruitment issues in palliative care trials.
