As we enter halfway through the first term, we reach a very exciting part of the term: JCR Elections!

The JCR are your Student Representatives of the College and we are now open for nominations.

• Are you interested in making a difference to the student experience?
• Do you want to learn new skills and take on extra responsibilities?
• Do you enjoy organising events?
• Do you have an interest in welfare?
• Would you like to be involved in working with college staff to shape how the College is run?

Joining the JCR is a great way to make your CV stand out from the crowd. In addition, being part of the JCR will also count towards the Lancaster Award. This is YOUR opportunity to make a difference in YOUR college and work more closely with the College Officers and College community here at Lancaster.

Election Timetable

4 November at 12pm - Nominations Open. This is when you can upload your manifesto for your chosen position on the JCR

18 November at 12pm - Nominations Close.

21 November at 10am - start campaigning!

Hustings (location, date and time to be confirmed) - this is where you present your manifesto and answer any questions posed

29 November at 10am - Voting begins. You can vote on the SU website which will be shared when voting begins. Voting will close on 1 December 2022 at 10pm.

2 December at 6pm - Results for the JCR will be announced online.
