Have you been procrastinating on your writing? Do you prefer to write in a supportive environment? Are you looking to increase your word count?

If your answer to any of these questions is ‘yes’, why not try the free County College writing retreat? It is your opportunity to work on your coursework, thesis, or essay in a quiet and encouraging environment.

The 3-hour retreat will include a goal-setting exercise, short group chats, and writing periods. Each writing period will be accompanied by an optional writing exercise, which will help you to experiment with a range of different writing methods. These exercises help to resolve procrastination and will help you to understand the writing process that works best for you, as a unique individual.

By the end of the retreat, you will have a significant amount of writing completed, and you will have a better understanding of yourself as a writer.

Open to all students and staff. Participants are welcome to leave early.
