Collecting Post and Parcels

Most courier and delivery services will send you a text message or email to let you know your parcel has arrived. This means that the parcel has arrived on campus – not that it is ready for collection from the Porters lodge. So, when you get your text message or email, please wait for FOUR hours before visiting the porters lodge. This will allow time for the deliveries to be sorted centrally and distributed to the correct Porters lodges for you to collect. This also means that you can avoid unnecessary trips to the lodge, which is essential in the current circumstances due to the need for social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Please remember that when you do need to go out, you should do so alone (while keeping mindful of general safety) and not gather in groups of more than two people, and keep to a distance of at least two metres apart when you are out. The main advice is do not unnecessarily visit the Porters lodge seeking to collect deliveries from couriers.
Chancellor’s Wharf
If you are living at Chancellor’s Wharf then you can collect your post and parcels from the office there. Jan will be in the office Monday to Friday 9am to 12 noon, except for during the Easter closure period from 9th April to 15th April.
