Defying Dementia Day 2019

Following the last two year’s incredibly successful events, we are thrilled to announce details of our third Defying Dementia Day.

The event will take place on Saturday the 19th of October. It is an opportunity to learn about updates in dementia research, find out about ways to help live with dementia, take part in dementia wellness activities and talk to dementia service providers.

Registration opens at 9.15am, along with the activities, marketplace and demonstrations. The talks start at 10:00am and the day concludes at 4:00pm.

Lectures will take place throughout the day, with the morning focusing on developments in research, and the afternoon focussing on living with dementia. The lectures are all 25 minutes in length, allowing 5 minutes for questions.
