In order not to disturb students’ private study and revision time, or their exams, all members of the University community are asked to make special effort to be quiet on campus during the Exam Period.

The 2025 quiet period is 21 April 2025 to 18 June 2025 (inclusive) and throughout this periodno noisy activities must take place in any college, residence, study accommodation, or other venue close to examination rooms.

Colleges or societies wishing to organise events during the exam period must seek special permission from the relevant College Principal or the Academic Registrar.

Standard student fines imposed for infringement of noise regulations will be automatically doubled during the Quiet Period.
