Furness College | Memorial Day

Save the date adverting the Furness Memorial Day on Saturday 15 March 2025 from 12noon until 6pm. There is an image of a dandelion with the seeds being blown. There will be a football and pool competition as well as Funess fellows and presentations followed by live music.

Open to alumni, staff and students - come along and support these events as part of the College Memorial Day.

  • 12noon in the JCR Common Room. Pool Competition in honour of Richard Slatter. The winner of this competition will receive a pool cue and carry case which has been kindly donated by the Slatter family.
  • 2pm-4pm on the 3G pitch. Football Competition in honour of Nick Lewis. Furness FC take on Furness Old Boys, our Alumni team.
