Graduation Day for Furness College takes place on Wednesday 16 July 2025.

This year, the Furness College celebrations will take place after each ceremony within the college space. Expect live music, a free glass of fizz, sweet treats and hopefully plenty of sunshine!

The Furness College group photo will take place at 12pm on Lancaster Square (outside the County townhouses and at the back of the LICA building) and normally takes around 45 minutes.

• If you are in the 10.30am ceremony, come and celebrate with us anytime between 1-3pm
• If you are in the 1.45pm ceremony, come and celebrate with us anytime between 3-5pm

The Furness celebration events are not ticketed this year. Therefore, whilst we warmly welcome your family and friends to join in the festivities, we kindly ask that you only attend one of the celebration times above.

Trev bar will be open from 11am until 6pm selling other drinks. If you want something more substantial to eat, various outlets on campus will be open. Alternatively, you can bring your own picnic and borrow a College picnic blanket for the afternoon.

Our graduation bears and ties are a great gift or item of memorabilia of your time with us. These can be purchased in advance and collected from the college office or from Furness Quad on the day of graduation, and they are available to buy now on the University eStore.
