Snow Storm: Hannibal and his army crossing the Alps, oil on canvas, exhibited Royal Academy 1812, Turner Bequest, Tate Britain ( Wilton P126).
Surprisingly, this is Ruskin 's only reference to this now celebrated painting, in the whole of his writings on Turner.
