                                                                      		moulding not only  is it not true to a circular segment - 
                                                                      		it really waves as it goes round:  and finally bends into a
                                                                      		slight horseshoe form. p 47 French book.  Note the
                                                                      		shortened dentils above the joint, they are 5 and diamond
                                                                      		above, 12 below, and rather flat, section at A p 47 1
                                                                      		careful;  note interval of flat between dentil and chamfer
                                                                      		no wider than dentil.  The flat of cusp trefoil is rough
                                                                      		chiselled.  The cusp entirely lost in soffit above the
                                                                      		joint, and for full six inches above abacus.  The shaft
                                                                      		head B. a beautifully cut pure R. like Sagredo balcony,
                                                                      		with a round ball flower [drawing] merely incised in one -
                                                                      		opened thus [drawing] in the other, the angle leaves
                                                                      		curled from     the spiral with perfect grace and simplicity.
                                                                      		The pil head is C. all without bases on plinth D
                                                                      		There are two sets of these windows of three each and one
x. shown the more by the flat instead of the cavetto beside them.  The		det, and I am glad I happened to go to them after the pal.
{usual} cavetto much destroys the effect of the dentil.               		Sagredo of which in general workmanship they closely
                                                                      		remind me.
                                                                      		In dark weather, nothing can be more lovely than these
                                                                      		windows - their dentils stand out like a chain of silver x
                                                                      		their rare and simple moulding leaves a deep shade within;
                                                                      		their cusps are of exquisite grace in the flow;  their
                                                                      		slender shafts detached half a foot from the recessed
                                                                      		window, and their arches look from below {nearly} pure
                                                                      		points, just crisped at the extremities into the ogee
