                                                                      		much waved and undulated perfectly flaccid & clumsy

                                                                      		of the hindermost figure is peculiarly vulgar in its turning up:
                                                                      		The trunk of the tree is good;  founded on that
                                                                      		of the Noah but far inferior.  A little bit of naturalism
                                                                      		a lizard real size on the knob at its elbow, is very nice.
                                                                      		The bracket below is well cut, but so wild and violent
                                                                      		in its double twisted lobes that it looks actually
                                                                      		shrivelled up by the sunshine;  its ribs and root are
                                                                      		fine, but it is a painful contrast to the exquisite
                                                                      		brackets of the Noah and Adam.
