Notebook M2 pp.132-3 (Cremona) ‘at p 13 (a little conjecturally as regards the stars, they may perhaps have been mere crosses of bars, or even incisions the Servi bricks) is given at p 13. Twelve of these compartments are on each side of arch, reaching a little below the dripstone and then five more go to bottom of jamb. This will give me the proportion better than my sketch at p 11.’
