The note of November 23rd seems to be the first occasion on which Ruskin defines the 1st Order, 2nd Order, 3rd Order, 4th Order and 5th Order of windows. The Palazzo Sagredo on which Ruskin made notes on November 19th provides clear examples on its facade of the 3rd, 4th and 5th orders.
