At Works, 11.434 Ruskin, not without justification, calls San Nicolo de’ Tolentini (Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 27), by Scamozzi, one of the basest and coldest works of the late Renaissance. It seems possible that he had in mind here S. Nicoḷ dei Mendicoli (Nadali & Vianello (1999) Tav. 38).
Compare the account of S. Nicoḷ dei Mendicoli taken from Zanotto at Notebook M2 p.31.
