‘Citta’ seems more plausible than ‘letta’, the reading of the Ruskin Library Transcript T7A. It is the town hall at Udine - the Loggia del Lionello. There does not seem to be any evidence of a visit by Ruskin to Udine, a town some 125 kilometres from Venice.
