The manuscript seems to read ‘Marc.’, presumably an abbreviated form of ‘Marcus’, followed by ‘Q’ with a mark of contraction above it, presumably for ‘quondam’ meaning ‘formerly’ and translated into Italian in the previous sentence as ‘del fu’.
