‘Sq.’ is Ruskin’s regular abbreviation for the square (or rectangular) moulding, in this case made up of dentils (see Venetian dentil), enclosing a range of windows.
Ruskin does not distinguish here between Housebook 1 and Housebook 2.
House Book 1 p.1 reads:
