All the capital letters on Notebook M p.73 and Notebook M p.74 - with the possible exception of the references to ‘D’ near the top of Notebook M p.74 - refer to the sections of Notebook M p.73L. The pattern is that the capital letter is followed by the name of the building, or some other indication of what it is, followed by a reference either to the numbered Sheets or to house numbers in House Book 1. Ruskin has collected drawings from several sheets. The analysis is continued at Notebook M p.77.
