'D[S]eolieri' is the reading of The Ruskin Library Transcript T7B.
It has not been possible to trace Zanotto’s Sepolcri. The note here raises the question of who produced the memoranda, and the extent to which the selection of notes was Ruskin’s. No evidence is available about the relationship between Ruskin’s notes and the memoranda he was given. Presumably it was Rawdon Brown who provided the information. It seems that here, as with the work on the Venetian Chronicles, Ruskin received a great deal of support, particularly from Rawdon Brown and Lorenzi.
