‘stile Byzantino misto’ is the first of Zanotto’s categories. It is followed in Zanotto by the ‘stile archi-acuto impropriamente appellato gotico’- a point of terminology on which Ruskin makes no comment; ‘stile in transizione’; ‘stile Lombardo’; ‘stile di Sammichele; ‘stile Palladiano’.
