The reading of The Ruskin Library Transcript T7B is ‘stiff hand, unfinished and unvaried’. There seems to be a stop in the manuscript after ‘stiff’. If it is a stop then it would be possible to read ‘hard’ rather than ‘hand’, and so to make a Ruskinian list of four adjectives: ‘stiff, hard, unfinished and unvaried’.
