See Notebook M2 p.17 and Notebook M2 p.11backL where there are notes from Zanotto which seem to be a continuation of those beginning at Notebook M2 p.16. The first part of the note on the Simon Dandolo tomb at Notebook M2 p.11backL is closely followed at Works, 11.97, which gives the inscription on the tomb and refers to the Annunciation group and the fact that Simon Dandolo was a member of the ‘Giunta’ which condemned Falier. See also Works, 11.301, and compare the reference to the ‘tomb of Giustiniani’ at Notebook M p.157.
