For the South Porch of the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Bergamo see Plate facing Works, 30.212 [n/a]. It, like the North Porch, which faces the Piazza del Duomo, has work by Giovanni da Campione from the middle of the 14th century. For a reference to what Ruskin says is the Duomo at Bergamo see Works, 9.327. It seems possible that Ruskin had in mind Santa Maria Maggiore when he referred to the Duomo; compare Works, 22.184 [n/a].
