The diagram at Notebook M2 p.86L is essentially the same as that at Palace Book p.48, but apparently more carefully measured - perhaps using geometrical instruments. The diagram is of the filling between the second and third arches (Molo façade). Compare Plate 14 at Works, 9.352 which is of a similar decoration between the ninth and the tenth arches and the comments at Works, 9.459, Works, 9.327 and Works, 9.352.
