This is placed opposite the line containing the line on Notebook M2 p.74 in which the word ‘subito’ appears in The Ruskin Library Transcript T7B. The word at Notebook M2 p.74 does not seem any less clear than at Notebook M2 p.74L, so this does not appear to be intended as a clarification of the transcription. Perhaps Ruskin simply wishes to draw attention to the meaning of the word ‘subito’.
