Here ‘nel’ is an insertion above what appears to be a crossed out two-letter word, perhaps ‘in’. ‘consiglio’ has what might be a double ‘l’, but is almost certainly ‘l’ struck through diagonally. Above that is written ‘consigio’, presumably Ruskin’s final version of what he saw.
