Compare Notebook M2 pp.105L and 105 with St M[arks] Book pp.65aL and 65a and the diagram at St M[arks] Book p.65aL. In M2 Ruskin has moved his focus of attention from the leaves of the capitals of the Ducal Palace. The same process is seen in reverse at St M[arks] Book p.65a where a brief note on the leafage of the 28th capital of the Ducal Palace is inserted at the bottom of St M[arks] Book p.65a.
