This is the reading of The Ruskin Library Transcript T7B, but the references seem to be to Prout’s treatment of Roman ruins in Pillar at Igel; Porta Nigra at Treves; Temple of Pallas in Rome.
‘I get’ in T7B seems a simple mistake, but ‘consider if’ is unclear.
