St Mark’s First (later described as 5th) Porch west front (first to the left from SW Portico). In numbering the porches, Ruskin worked from south to north in St M Book (1,2,3,4,5) but later material took a reversed order. See St M[arks] Book p.25L, 27, 28, 29, 30, 68L.
