Task D - Our comments (question 1)

"HIGHER STANDARDS & CHOICE"

The meaning of these two concepts seem obvious enough. Higher standards indicates an increase in the level of attainment of some person, service or whatever. Choice has to do with being able to have, or do, one thing rather than another. There doesn't seem to be a very clear relationship between the two. Getting better at something often does not involve choice at all, although it is possible to imagine some contexts where more choice might be part of higher standards - a wider choice of things to buy, for example.
