Chuckle Stop!

There was once an Indian chief who had 3 wives. Being a lover of the Rubensesque, he spoiled the largest of them rotten but, being a fair man, he also cared for the other two. Among other things, he gave each of them a hide to sit on; the smallest wife received a wolfskin, the middle one a buffalo hide, and his favourite a rare, imported hippopotamus skin. At the weekly weigh-in to check that no-one was losing weight, it was conclusively proved that the squaw on the hippopotamus is equal to the sum of the squaws on the other two hides.
