We are pleased to announce that PhD student Amelia Joulain-Jay has been awarded The Gale Dissertation Research Fellowship in Nineteenth-Century Media 2016 for her work on the Nineteenth-Century British Library Newspaper Collection.  Congratulations Amelia!

In October 2015, the Spatial Humanities project was awarded the British Library Labs Award for Research 2015. A video of Professor Ian Gregory’s acceptance presentation can be viewed here.

The prize for Best Poster at GISRUK 2013 was won by Dr Patricia Murrieta-Flores et al., for “Digital Literary Geographies: A Spatial Analysis of Lake District Landscape Writings”.
