The shallow valley behind ‘Fox’s Pulpit’ on the top of Firbank Fell (extend screen to the right)
It provides a natural auditorium with a good acoustic, and would hold several hundred people. The chapel was overlooked by the ridge from which Fox is traditionally held to have preached. This photograph was taken from the other side of the rock which forms the ‘pulpit’.
