What are the physical descriptions?

The notes provided under this heading contain a summary of the physical aspects of a project, which may not be visible in the scans, that is: how it is held together as a 3 dimensional whole, the structure of the working surfaces, and the material form of the inscription. They include comments on materials and substances that make up the project, and tools and technologies which are used in production, but do not form part of the final artifact. They also include notes on the project's general condition, including evidence of ‘accidental damage’ to component parts, during or prior to the process of production.
