Walt disney
1901-1966. US <reg>film</reg> <reg>maker</reg> and animator, a pioneer of family <reg>entertainment</reg>. He established his own studio in Hollywood 1923, and his first <reg>Mickey/<reg> Mouse cartoons (Plane crazy, which was silent, and Steamboat Willie, which had sound) appeared 1928. In addition to short cartoons, the Studio made feature-length <reg>animated</reg> films, including snow white and the seven Dwarfs 1938, <reg>Pinnochio</reg> spelling? 1940, Dumbo 1941. Disney cartoon figures, for example Donald Duck, also appeared in comic <sic>book</sic> world wide. In 1955, Disney <reg>opened</reg> the first theme <sic>the first</sic> Park, Disneyland in California.
Using the new medium of sound film, Disney developed the ‘Silly <reg>Symphony</reg> ’, a type of cartoon based on the close association of music with visual images. He Produced these in colour from 1932, culminating in the feature-length. Fantasia 1940. The Disney studio also made nature study <sic>film</sic> Such as The living Desert 1953, which have been criticized for <reg>their</reg> fictionalization of nature: wild animals were placed in unnatural situations to create ‘drama’. Feature films with human casts were made from 1946, such as The Swiss Family Robinson 1960 and Mary <reg>Poppins</reg> 1964.

Disney was one of the most famous film Producers of all time. He created famous cartoon characters such as <reg> Mickey</reg> Mouse and Donald Duck. He Also Produced full length cartoons and films <reg>about</reg> wild animals and films with human actors. Disney films has won more than 50 Academy Awards.

Walt Disney World in california opened in 1955, this was followed in 1971 by Disneyland in Orlando, Florida, in 1982 the epcot centre opened as a permanent World fair.

A Japanese Disneyland opened in tokyo in 1983 and euro Disney opened <reg>near/ Paris in 1993.
Although the parks count for most of the Money earned by Walt Disney Productions. Other <reg>income</reg> comes from the sale of Books, Videos, records, cassettes, clothing <reg>etc</reg>

Within the resort there are 13 themed Hotels.

The three Major theme Parks are Magic Kingdom, epcot ‘95, Disney-MGM Studios.
Water Parks
There are three water <reg>parks</reg> <reg>Blizzard</reg> Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and river country
Nature Theme Parks.
Dicoverty island is <regDisney’s</reg> own 11 acre Nature Reserve.
