No-Fly Seminar: Climate Change & SocietyDate: 18 October 2011 Time: 10:00 am - 01:00pm Venue: Bowland North B136 (BN SR23 if B136 is too small) John Urry, Monika Büscher and a few sociology colleagues and students from Bielefeld University in Germany are organising an informal video conference seminar on climate change ethnographies. 5 PhD students at Bielefeld have done ethnographic studies on everyday practices and experiences around climate change in 5 coastal cities (Tokyo, San Franscisco and others).
