Gender and disability research in the Nordic countries

Abstract
Growing number of researchers in the Nordic countries combine issues of gender and disability in their work. This paper provides an overview of the current status of this aspect of Nordic disability research. It will map the development of this research, provide an overview of its present status and discuss its implications for disability studies. In part, the paper will be based on the results of a Nordic project on gender and disability research which has recently come to a conclusion.
