Public reading at the Storey Institute with Holger Ehling DAAD-Writer in Residence at DELCDate: 8 November 2013 Time: 6.00 pm Venue: Storey Institute in Lancaster
We are delighted to welcome Holger Ehling as Writer in Residence (DAAD) at Lancaster University. Creative writer and journalist Holger Ehling will be in the department from November 8th to November 13th 2013. The author of Finding England. An Auslander's guide to perfidious Albion (2012) and of England Glorious England (2009) will give guest lectures at the Department for European Languages and Culture (DELC) which are open to students and staff. At 6pm on 8th November 2013 Holger Ehling will give a public reading followed by a short discussion of his work with Dr Charlotte Baker at the Storey Institute in Lancaster. The reading is a co-operation between DELC, Waterstones Lancaster and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and supported by Litfest-Lancaster. Lancaster is a station of Holger's tour of northern England with visits to the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester.
