Sociology

The study of human social behaviour, including patterns of interaction among individuals and in groups, forms of organisation of social groups, and their influence on individual action. It origins can be traced back to the Enlightenment in the 18th century and to Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), with the first person to use the term ‚aasociology‚aa being Auguste Comte (1778-1857) who is considered to be the founding father of sociology.
