Event Details

A visit to Wordsworth Grasmere - exclusive to students from the Department. Free -- including coach there and back .

The Department is proud to be a longstanding partner of Wordsworth Grasmere, which means that, along with offering annual internships there, and free entrance all year round, we make an annual visit.

This visit to Wordsworth Grasmere will include tours of both Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth Museum, and special sessions in the Jerwood Centre, an archive that contains 90% of William Wordsworth’s manuscripts, Dorothy Wordsworth’s Journals and first editions of Romantic-period books including Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein’.
