Dr Rosa Letizia
Senior LecturerResearch Overview
Rosa Letizia obtained her Ph.D. in numerical modelling of photonic devices from University of Leeds, School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, in 2009 and the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Bari, Italy, in 2005. She is Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Senior Member IEEE and currently a RAEng/ Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellow. She serves as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices.
Her current research interests include:
- Millimetre wave and Terahertz vacuum electron devices and applications
- Millimetre wave technology for high data rate wireless communications
- Novel electromagnetic structures for high-frequency particle accelerators
- Photonic crystals and metamaterials
- Computational electromagnetic modelling
