Researcher in Systems Design and Socio-Natural Networks; Pluriversal and Decolonial Design; Bio-astronautics and Space Urbanization; and Design Theory and Methodology. I am currently the Head of the Space Design Division of the Research Center for Space Emerging Technologies (C- SET), and Lecturer and former Head of the Industrial Design Program at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).
Career Details
I am an International Advisory Council Member of the Design Research Society (DRS) the longest stablished worldwide society in Design Research, also a Member of the Systemic Design Association (SDA), Member of the Society for the Social Studies of Science (4S), and Representative of Peru at the Latin American Network of Public Policy and Design (Red PP&D). Founder of the LeNS Peru node of the International Learning Network on Sustainability, and Founder of the CADi LATAM Conference of Latin American Design.
Professional Role
I help companies, institutions and organizations deal with complex contemporary challenges and make strategic decisions in relation to the simultaneous socio-economic, techno-political and socio-natural impacts of their projects, and the products, services, socio-technical infrastructures and complex socio-natural systems being designed, developed and transformed.
