This is the second webinar in the series of three to celebrate 25 years of Doctoral Programme in Educational Research - Higher Education (DPER)
DPER Enriching Lives and Careers
In this webinar, DPER alumni will share their experience and views on the DPER programme. They will particularly focus on how DPER affected their careers and personal lives. The speakers had different careers before doing a doctorate, and also pursued different careers after. Therefore, they will be able to share their views on DPER impact on their careers from different angles. They will answer any questions the audience might have about this aspect of the DPER programme.
The webinar is chaired by Dr Richard Budd, a Lecturer at the Educational Research Department. Richard is a member of the Centre for Higher Education Research and Evaluation, with which DPER is associated, and served as a convenor for one of the modules on the programme in the academic year 2019/20. Richard acts as a superviser to some of DPER students in Part 2 of the programme, and acts as a guest speaker in residentials.
Chair of the session:

- Prof Veronica Bamber, DPER alumna
- Dr Catherine Hasted, DPER alumna
- Dr Catherine O'Connell, DPER alumna
