Do you have trouble finding time to write productively? Join our online research community as we come together to support each other and block out some time for research writing. Whatever you are working on, staff or student, everyone is welcome.
The Centre for Social Justice and Wellbeing in Education are delighted to announce a new online writing workshop which is open to all students and staff. Are you looking to block out some dedicated time for research writing? If so you are very welcome to join us for our Research Centre's first writing session, which uses the Pomodoro method to help us enhance productivity and keep focused.
What is the Pomodoro method?
The Pomodoro method is a time management tehnique developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It involves working in short, focused intervals (typically 20 minutes), known as "Pomodoros", followed by brief breaks to recharge.
This session is designed to provide a collaborative and supportive space for working on your individual projects, whether it’s your thesis, an article, or a research grant.
You will find friendly, like-minded people who are there to encourage you in your work and who will collectively help you to keep on task.
We hope to see you there!
